After hearing yesterday that the site has finally been sold I thought I had better get up there before the bulldozers move in.
This place is absolutely amazing, with so many wards going off in a maze of corridors. More toilets and shower rooms than you can shake a stick at, a prison style cell, and even a fairly big chapel.
Access was easy if you know where to look. I only managed to get around the main building as it was in my lunch hour, hence this report only being part 1. It will probably take another 2 trips, maybe next week to do the rest.
The low winter sun was very bright, and was proving to be quite tricky to get some good photo's, as most of them ended up being over exposed. I'm still learning photography skills as I am a complete noobie, so please go easy on my photos.
If you are planning a trip up there, I'd do it sooner rather than later
