Brief bit of history on the school.
With a new school recently constructed in the grounds, the site of the old school is currently in the process of being cleared to become a running track.
Stonefield Junior and Infant School, Prosser Street Bilston opened in 1906, with pupils coming from Bilston Primitive Methodist Day School. The School was controlled by Staffordshire County Council until 1966. In 1983 St Edward's Nursery School was grouped with this school, having been previously grouped with Villiers Primary School. From that date the governors minutes relate to both schools. The School merged with St Leonard's and St Edward's Nursery schools in 1995 to form Bilston Primary CE School.
