82-86 New Street, Huddersfield - November 2012
Not really sure why I am posting this other than boredom. Not very high and not really an interesting building in itself, it is currently used as the Town's Primark. It does provide some unique views of a couple of other buildings in Huddersfield that need doing - Buxton House, Ramsden House and the Town Hall. Skipped up here on my lonesome one freezing cold night with the sole intention of finishing a roll of film.
As with most rooftops I've done in Huddersfield, there was no need to go through the inside of the building as it is quite possible to climb over fences, around lower walls, staircases, ladders or drainpipes to reach the low level stuff. I actually quite enjoyed it as it felt like I had the whole town to myself at such an ungodly hour.
Looking up High Street toward the Bus Station Piazza, the former NTL building and Norwich Union House.
Buxton House
Town Hall
Industrial Co-Operative Society (visited with Fudge in July)
Got down after these, too cold.
Thanks,
tweek
