Situated near Poris de Abona on the island of Tenerife (out towards the lighthouse)
Status: Seems abandoned and a haunt for the local taggers, it’s a little run down and would have been a better find maybe 10 years ago..
Zoom Earth | LIVE weather map, storm tracker, rain radar
I would love to give this place a bit of history, but being military and Spanish id say my chances of finding anything on the net are pretty slim.
As I walked towards the gate…..
The size of the camp became more apparent , wow its huge passing the first building on the left which had that “Alamo†look about it…Then a quick nosey in the generator house , which had still the remains of a couple of generators.
Its hard to know which way to explore first as there is so much of it , I opted for the large official looking building….
Todo por la patria….Everything for the people
Looking back at the mess blocks id just came past…
Looking across a small valley with the remains of an old jeep and numerous other buildings….
I then headed for the largest building…
Passing this…
And this on route..
As I came out of the rear of this building..
I was greeted by what I can only describe as “WOWâ€
No not that , part II will be along shortly (depending on photobucket)……….
