Abandoned Cooling Tower - 2018 Belgium

So this was an easy one:
It is next to an abandoned power plant ( wich we did not visit cuz one of my friends got taken down by a SWAT team there )
The door was open and didn't had any problem entering the tower.
Next to the tower are some old industrial storage silo's for coal wich you can climb and walk on the roof ( wich i would not advice )

here is a hint if you want to find it:
It's in the Belgian coal ditrict and was part of Electrabel.

I spent all day in the power plant one day last summer and saw no one. Unable to enter the tower as the door was sealed. Different day, different luck

Great shots. When I went said door was locked tight :-(

First time I went back in 2012 the cooling tower door was shut but the power station was open and in mint condition, a year later I went again and the cooling tower was open. Just pot luck back then although it appears to be left wide open now.

They filmed a movie there a couple of mothes ago there and one of the cameramen is a friend of mine, he told me they left it open.

yes, he and his friend went there to take some photos but the guy that controls the dam nearby called the cops and they got arrested by a swat team
