Report - Abandoned Cottage, Minsterley, Shrewsbury - March 2016

The Explore
I think this has to be top of the list of weird, creepy places I've explored.. The place is so clean I half expected someone to walk back in and say they'd just nipped to the shops or something!

The amount of taxidermy about the place as well was quite spooky, everywhere you walked there was a set of eyes staring back at you!! All these things in here are the reason I've popped this in non public to try and keep it under wraps

The History
Afraid as with most of these cottages I haven't been able to find much history on the place or even a name for it. Strangely there were no family photos about and only single beds strangely.. Seen some bills and documents around from 2003 but not sure its been abandoned quite that long actually

Yeah, could have been something along them lines.. all very strange with the dead stuff about the place

Yeah, its really bugging me not knowing any history of the place, only things Ive ever heard are silly code names. Hard to know where to start with a random cottage in the countryside, would love to know more about it one day

Yeah its definitely abandoned haha there are a few bits that are starting to lose the battle with the elements, some water coming in around some windows that will only get worse. The outside of the house has years of overgrown brambles as well

@ZerO81 I genuinely don't know much more about it, I know it was close to Worthen but about 4 miles from there so not sure its the same place.

Im certainly not trying to keep anything from anybody and I did drop a message to an admin before I posted this to check it was OK to post into non public when I had very little info on the place..

No problems if the post needs removing though mate, fully up to speed on the rules in here so wasn't going to name it any of the silly codenames I'd heard but just wanted to share the pics with you guys thats all.

Think its actually classed as Shrewsbury if the title can be changed to that? Really can't seem to narrow it down to a village name or anything that precise just yet though sorry

It even felt weird looking at your photos, well captured! There doesn't even seem to be any dust on the cabinets! Any ideas how long its been abandoned? Dates on the washing up liquid etc...

hahaha I'm not too sure to how long its been empty, there were some bills in there from a few years ago buts that's all..

Wasn't keen on it to be really honest, way too clean and all just a bit strange haha
