Report - Abandoned Odeon cinema, Hartlepool

Recently went to an abandoned cinema in Hartlepool and after climbing up a Lamppost dropping through a roof and walking up some stairs i walked into the main part of the cinema as if i was walking on stage as i could see all the seating below me and all round the sides of the room in the boxes,it was quite a good explore,the only issue was the mould on the walls due to leaks in the roof, had some really cool retro vibes with vintage coke and Schweppes chillers along with beer trays and posters

Its just a club now. Or was. We did it years ago and apart from the hooch memorabilia it was pretty devoid of anything of interest inside.

This is in my hometown.
Been inside and that remains is the bar is all that remains. Wouldn't even think it use to be a cinema.

i worked there in 1970/71 .the capacity was 1293 seats but one sunday afternoon we sold about 1350 tickets for a Tom & Jerry cartoon programme. so sad to see it in this condition.

It is, one of the many buildings that needs bulldozing in my town, its too far gone now.

Had a massive fire a couple of weeks ago and is now being demolished though they are trying to save the decorative friezes from the front for display in the town.
