This place doesn't really have any history except that it's a former freight yard now used to store trains destined for demolition. The rolling stock present on site is very varied, ranging from high-speed TGV trains to eurostars and railcars of the 60s.

There were really a lot of "corail" cars in perfect condition, mainly sleeper cars, result of the suppression of almost all night train lines in france...

These cars could have still been used for years, what a waste...

This one was in the process of getting the new "carmillon" livery when it was retired of service.

Nice to see a varied collection of stock all rotting away. Sad to see the Class 373s are not only disappearing from the UK network.

They are completely knackered tho. Millions of miles in salty humid air. In a way surprised they lasted as long as they did. Won’t be long before the 390s on the wcml are sighted for replacement.

Indeed it is true, the 373s have done thier job pretty well. I think plans are in place for the pendolinos to be replaced with 800s or something similar.

Ditto this thought - does appear that way? Unless it's a different one which is very plausible
