Report - Aberthaw Lime Works, June 2015

Here it goes, my first thread.

For some time now, since I was little actually, I've been fascinated with my trips down to Fontygary, Rhoose (just a little past Cardiff Airport!). Each time, I would always take it upon myself to go and investigate the local surroundings and take in the views of the Bristol Channel but I would always be drawn to this one specific location, Aberthaw Lime Works.

With the weather shining, a camera in hand, I finally decided to go and investigate before the whole place falls to ruins, and here's what I found...

Hope you enjoyed looking at the pictures, unfortunately there wasn't much else to get pictures of but still a thoroughly enjoyed visit.

Ooh, any pictures Lenston? I did a search before posting to avoid duplicates but didn't find anything. I didn't dare approach the tent so I'm not entirely sure but I believe it was just discarded there as rubbish.
