Combo of the three newish builds around Aldgate.
~ Aldgate East also known as One Commercial Street was a stalled, derp site until a few years
ago. Was the first crane I did actually - back in 2011, headed up with Winch after the rain made
drains a no go.
It’s only just reaching the completion stages after about eight years in the making.
~ Next Aldgate Altitude in 2013, headed up with Analepsis and we spent about half an hour
watching and waiting as the police had been called. They didn’t hang around for long and soon disappeared,
obviously had better things to do and headed off into the night. Only got one decent-ish shot from this place.
This is the only completed site of the three with people already moved in.
~ Finally was Aldgate Tower; walk passed this everyday and eventually
heading up with Gaj. It took a while due to workers messing with the ground floor lights
all night…. :/ but once in we were up in no time. The best site of the three.
