This is our first report, we resized the pics from our original attempt.
Stumbled upon this place - the Iranian embassy in Altrincham. We have had the pictures for a while but have only
Just got round to making a post. We cant find too much history about this place, but it was built in the 1900s but later taken over as an
Iranian embassy. After its close it has been left to rot, and now suffered a fire in december which by all accounts has gutted it.
The house on approach:
A chair found by the front door:
The downstairs living area - if you look closely you can see the face of a devil staring out at you from the plywood
The tiled fireplace with carved wood
The windows are boarded up but some of the curtains still remain
you can get a sense of the scale of the fireplace from this pic:
This fireplace looks to have been ripped out
the cupboards in the kitchen - all wide open
The shed out in the garden has seen better days
And the greenhouse is lacking a bit of tlc.
It looks like it has not been looked after for many years
And finally the outdoor swimming pool, complete with oozing green slime.
It is interesting when copmparing this against the other reports of the building, seeing how much it has deteriorated over the years. As we
mentionned earlier, This is our first report, hope you liked it,
