This explore has been covered by a couple of threads on here already but I have some photos from the electrical substation that I've not seen duplicated so thought I'd upload the set anyway.
We were over in Ambergate for some mountain biking (hence the bikes in a couple of the photos) back in 2008 and happened upon the wireworks by accident. Luckily I had my dSLR with me so took some photos - apologies for the quality of some of them - I was relatively new to the photography game then!
From the other reports it seems like the site has deteriorated quite a bit since I was last there which is a shame. Once I'm back in the UK (currently on a work placement in Tunisia) I think I'll go back and revisit. There was a small two storey house on the entry track that I had a brief look around but didn't have a flashlight so took no photos. I've also not seen the exposed beam house that is mentioned in the other reports so that would be good to check out.
Hope you enjoy the photos - any thoughts appreciated!
