Question - Anyone know what this place is?

I popped through a hole in a fence on my walk along the Purfleet side of the Thames and found this place. When I searched google for info i found an old post on here saying it was the old board mill but I’ve seem conflicting info saying it was a sewage works.

Looks like part of the old papermills site to me.

It was probably the water treatment plant for the paper mill. So both are correct.

The site of Thames Board Mills.. Closed 2007 but was largely missed by explorers. Was demolished quickly after closure and there was too many better places to go back then!

Kind of wish id made the effort as I got quite a few enamel signs off the site even after it had been demo'd!
