History
This church was originally an 18th-century manor house, and substantially enlarged around 1940. It is not clear when the church closed. Some sections of the house show a lot of decay that suggests that they have been out of use for a long time. It was grade 2 listed in 1985
The explore
Ive known about this place for a while now but couldn’t for the life of me pin point its location.
So after finally getting the pin off 1 of my exploring contacts and a Derbyshire explore planed I decided to visit this 1.
Getting inside was bloody easy but once inside I honestly thought I was in the wrong place as most the top rooms were just empty.
However after a bit more exploring it became clear it was the right place.
Although to be honest it didn’t really get much better, most rooms trashed, and all very similar to one another.
The highlight was probably all the beautiful pianos that were surprisingly till in 1 piece.
