One of the sites visited this summer that I've just got round to posting. This one we swung by on a pretty dull and dismal day, on which I can't remember what else we looked at now apart from I remember we went to a massive carrefour for MOAR FIZZY WATER after this... bumped into some other flemish explorers too.
It is in it's "High Royds" phase at the moment, so there are some apartments made from some of the blocks, whereas a couple of them are still derelict, this being one.
Bit of an odd mishmash of uses for it at the moment, there's a children's daycare centre just across the way and a photography studio and all sorts... anyway, here's some pics.
There was loads of lovely 1920's wallpaper throughout the place.
Oddly the electricity was on in some areas allowing Jim to charge his Camera battery.
