My first ever ROC Post
The post is in an overgrown compound on the edge of Bacup Golf Course.
A few of the remaining items seem to have disappeared since other reports
(guestbook, warning sign for the hatch and other paperwork)
The post is quite dry, but the sump is full of water and the pump doesn't work.
reported as locked, then stiff to open, the hatch is now loose.
Closed in 1991 and the dome on the shaft indicates this was a "Master Post".
