Dug these old photo's out the other day and thought I would share!
This is the only Info I could find.
"The Bailey Level was a goldmine dug because the rocks in this area are similar to the gold bearing rocks in South Africa. It's now owned by Ray Wright who owns Clearwell Caves"
Went here around late 2011 I think! Not the best pictures but was a nice find!
On the way there

one of the old Mining Carriages, I actually sat in one and to say it was cramped would be an understatement.
Then we ventured in....
Then it started to get a bit flooded...
Then as we were about 20 Meters past the flooding, annoyingly, there was a rather large collapse ahead..
Nobody knew we were there, the was no signal, and with a collapse like that ahead we decided against climbing over it to see what lay further ahead.... and turned back.
Was a nice experience but wished it looked safer so I could venture further in!.
So we walked back down the old tracks to the car and left!
Access was very easy back in 2011, Literally park up.. walk over, and walk In. However the person i went with said it used to be padlocked, so it may well be locked again.. or may have even collapsed some more since then!
