History:
Located on the countryside somewhere in Eastern Germany lays this former rather grand building. With the Neo-classical architecture it is in fact not really fitting for the traditional looking village. In 1898 this village was thriving on the production of beer, it was in fact a quite famous brand in northern Europe back in the days. With this success a lot of customers traveled to this village to buy beer, with this traffic the need of a place to stay started to appear. So the brewery decided to built a inn for the customers, with this inn a grand ballroom also was constructed. During ww2 this rather wealthy period was officially over though due to large scale bombings on the old brewery. After the war the production was never restarted again, but fortunately the old inn survived though. With the inauguration of the DDR this inn was repurposed as a cultural space also known as a house of culture. The main function was to host activities for the local youth. After the fall of the iron curtain this place became vacant and abandoned.
Nowadays this grand building is in a remarkable good condition and it still contains some pretty cool details.
