Question - Barrow Gurney - Images help please

Hi

I was wondering if anyone is aware of who took these images of Barrow in 2007/2008? I am in the process of creating a site dedicated to Barrow, and these images are a few rare examples online of the hospital before demolition, and I would like their permission to use them, however they are listed as a guest.

Pretty difficult to ascertain i'd imagine. Have you tried cross referencing with somewhere like derelict places?

Pete C has probably the earliest set post closure that I know of.. @rigsby may have some externals late 2007/early 2008 as he spent xmas day up there iirc!

I have very recently been there. Managed to access one of the tunnel entrances that was left open. The last remaining building is in a very bad state!

I think they had to leave it because of the bats roosting. It looks a mess doesn’t it !

Tunnel entrances? Any pictures or anything of interest? Does anyone know what they were used for?

Not he last, the Gate Lodge is still there. Interesting. If you zoom in on google maps, window is open. Looks a bit rundown

The tunnels connected the heating pipes from various buildings to the boiler house. What’s left of them will not exactly be exciting - they’re cramped and full of asbestos cladded pipes.
