Question - Barrow Gurney

Hi there,

I'm from Bristol and looking for some interesting abandoned places to visit. I've heard Barrow Gurney asylum is good, but I've also heard it's been/being demolished. Does anyone know if it's still there/worth going to?

If not, do you know any other cool places in the Bristol area?

It's pretty much gone, if not completely gone. To my knowledge, the only sign it was ever a hospital is now the gatehouse, and an NHS style sign on the gate post Sorry! It was good a few years back. I'm just annoyed someone beat me to the site map attached to said gatehouse - I was going to yoink that!

Are you after dereliction? Or underground stuff? High stuff? Let me know

Oh that's sad but thanks. Just looking for something a bit creepy really. Somewhere easy to get in as I haven't done this before!
