In central Maine there is a multi building industrial complex that is partly abandoned and part returned to other uses. From the time of the US Civil War up through WW2 this sprawling textile mill area was a major employer in Maine. SLowly with the cheap overseas imports drove the mill out of business.
Now much of it has been converted to office and Wharehouse Space. We where fortunate to avoid security and get into some of the areas that still remain vacant.
