Cant seem to find any info online, for a building that size to close down or move you would expect an article or two covering it but I haven't found any but it appears to of been operating during covid as there was the standard cov signs up. The buildings appeared to be a data centre for a catering company and possibly a bank much of the inside has been gutted for copper and windows smashed
The explore
On way to a local house we noticed this building from the road seeing broken windows as we passed we decided to check it out 2 dog vans parked by the main gate gave us the impression it mite not be easy but turned out we were wrong lol
After parking up we walked down the main road as we had been on a 3 day exploring binge and my husband was a lil tired we decided we would only do it if it looked easy fortunately using my binoculars I could see doors open a jar.
so we proceeded looking for a way into the site. once in the first door we tried was open so in we went. We appeared to enter into a kitchen possibly canteen area not knowing if the seca did patrols we stuck together and try make as little noise as possible
after looking around abit we headed deeper into the main part of the building
we eventually came to a large room what was probably a large office/lounge area piled with sofas and office desks
we then came across a server room with what I assume was EM proof doors and a tube door
we then looked at a small block attached to the main building was surprised to see a tv and vcr not often u see them in a modern building 😂
we headed back into the main building to check out the other offices
a random toy inside some gutted electrical boxes 😂
a few flat screen tvs
we then came across an old office filled with paperwork and a helpful map
next up was the generator rooms 2 very large ones
in a small room off the generators we found some plans of the building
finally we came across a small workshop
and just incase you were wondering
thanks for looking 😊
