Beechdale Swimming Centre opened in the 1970's, the Nottingham swimming team trained there for some time.
More recent history Olympic gold medalist Rebecca Adlington spent much of her time here training.
Reason for closing its doors for the final day on August 15th 2015 was due to a more advanced 50m pool opening near by at the Harvey Hadden Sports Village.

This was a great explore, was fantastic that nothing had been damaged and is in good condtition.
