My first report, so please bear with me if this is crap/amateurish/incorrect.
Having missed a few good derelict spots in Nottingham recently I remembered about Beechdale baths being empty. I can see Two reports on here, last One from February, so I hope this is not One too many.
It opened in the 1970's (cant find when), and was closed 27th August 2015 due to a 50m Olympic pool opening down the road at Harvey Haddon "Olympic center of excellence".
Currently gypsies are living on the car park around the back of the pool. My visit was cut short by a "little chat" with these guys who were distressed by the possibility of people attracting unwanted attention to the pool while they are there, as it is now their front yard! That was fair enough, so I left curtly and didn't get the rest of the shots I had planned during my First walk round.
I would strongly discourage anyone from going until these guys have left the area.
The place also has an automated alarm system of some kind, which spooked the crap out of me.
Anyway, here are my shots. While I am not usually a fan of over processing images, these just looked very drab and boring, so I used a VSCO Kodak Ultramax 800+, the shabbiness seems to improve them, in my opinion.

Exterior shot. I planned to take these on exiting, but I left in a hurry!
I would have gone round again, aiming for artsy shots, but as I mentioned, my visit was cut short.
Peace out.
