This was unplanned and spontaneous - I ran into @KM_Punk in town on the day and we decided to go and do some easy drains so I get the hang of exposure photography. This time I was armed with wellies and I must say, drains are far more enjoyable with dry comfortable feet. Although my height did restrict me from wading too far in the deeper bits, note to self, invest in waders.
First up was Belgrave Culvert. The overgrowth made this place that just more serene.
Interesting gassy sewer entrance
Also I'm aware graffiti has little to do with drains, but as an artist it was hard to not appreciate the imagination and the skills grafted onto the brick.
After that we trod on to Evington which is currently one of my personal favourites, purely for how openly big it is and also the rather interesting collection of debris deposited there. On the way we spotted more cool graffiti and smaller pipes.
Pages torn from a Quran
The camera I used shortly died afterwards so I resorted to using my phone, and we were pleasantly greeted with a rather picturesque sky upon leaving.
My phone never lets me down when it comes to decently capturing the sky! Plans on doing some derps around Leicestershire very soon.
Thanks for looking!
