I'm putting together information on bombing and artillery ranges in West Norfolk. I can identify several from local records (Norfolk has a very accesible online record service) and from 1946 aerial surveys (Norfolk also has a great online mapping access service). But I'm struggling to find detailed information or studies of ranges or the numerous navigational markers placed in the landscape during 1939-45. For decoys (there are several local) there is a lot of information in Fields of Deception but I haven't identified anything similar for ranges.
Is anyone aware of anything I might have missed, or am I due a visit to the PRO at Kew or the IWM?
