Not sure why I have been to this post 3 times, especially since it gives me respiratory problems every time I go there! I tidied up a bit, there are some GZI paperwork scraps here and there. The desk has a nice rolling hatch which kind of still works (although it is in bits all over the floor). The door to the monitoring room is also on the floor. Not much change in the last year but I decided to stack some of the wood and tidy up a bit. Next time I'm going with breathing gear, it's a dusty post!
The hatch doesn't stay open so it's fun going down, especially in the wind of today - the hatch sings to you as it sways
The Orlit post is great, North South East and West still very clear on the obs platform. Be careful if you visit though, the metal rod steps are ready to give way, step on the edges only
Oh, there is also some yellow toilet paper, which makes a change from the usual pink in this area
