Report - Bron Y Garth Hospital & Morgue Wales 2018

Bron Y Garth Hosptial was based on the original Festinog Workhouse that opened around 1838. The victroian vagrants ward was added to the original buildings and included space for six working/living cells. The workers would sleep on a metal wire bed with no matress. The work cells were used for stone-breaking and had metal grids at the outside through which broken stone was passed when its pieces were of a small enough diameter. The hosptial closed around 2008 currently the owners renovators are living in a sectioned off part of the Hospital.

Wasn't gonna bother chucking a report up on this but I've got a bit of spare time so why not, and besides i dont think there's any pictures of the morgue here.

I think most people have popped into this Hospital, many a road trip through Wales have seen explorers pass through, but what we all failed to miss was the small outbuilding at the back, granted half the time we was scarpering because of the pesky alarm but still its their and we still missed it myself included.

If it wasn't for Tumbles i more than likely would have carried on missing it, he raised a voice that there was potentially A mourge on the site, so one sunny day we set off to find it.

There is someone living in the main part of the hospital now, dunno if it's the owners or the builders, someone apparently approached them about the mourge building and they was told it had been stripped, im not sure this is true and guess it was to put people off from checking.

Yes, I can get permission visits in this place went back in April to explore the upper levels but goddam how did I miss this maybe a holiday village ain't great if it once had a morgue and it had pics maybe he didn't want me to see it

It's a small seperate building at the far end of the site, pretty easy to miss in fairness, i would be surprised if it's been stripped as it really doesn't interfere with the main parts of the hospital at all.

Most likely will be demolished then, I thought the building next to the cells was the morgue
