This place propped up on my radar a few weeks ago now, so with plans made I made the 30 minute drive down the M56 to have a look around.
It seems like it has been closed for a while, the office block a lot more recently, around 1998 and the other buildings at the back around the late 80's from what paper work I could find inside.
I can find a whole bunch of history on the companies that owned and worked in the buildings, but unfortunately there ain't much of anything about the buildings themselves.
The two story brick building at the back appears to be the oldest and from looking above the main entrance of this building may have been used by a company called heron oils??
To say its been closed for such a long time, it certainly has remained largely intact but I think thats basically down to its location and being completely surrounded by trees.
I really liked this place, plenty of things to see, Quite literally had the place to myself bar the odd buzzard having a go!
