Visited here last year with member dazree, but only just got round to posting!
Burrows court is a 20 floor apartment building in the snient on area of Nottingham. Built in 1967 for the city housing dept and refurbished in 1994 it has been empty since 2005. A year later it was sold to a foreign investment company who gained permission to redevelop the site, maintain the tower and build new housing in the grounds. Despite this it remains abandoned.
As we arrived the police were busy kicking local kids off site, they obligingly secured the main door with a brick!!! Guess that's the way in then!!!
The whole place is fairly well gutted.
Tho surprisingly some cable remained, later worked out it powered the mobile masts on the roof!!
Finally onto the roof, great views!!
Where the cables ended!!!!
