Cairneyhill quarry Airdrie road forest field permitted visit(sort of) sorry in advance for sh*t photos driving a truck&sneaking pics while avoiding quarry machines wee bit tricky. Tarmacs cairneyhill quarry site deals in tar and stone products .I tried to gain access to the older part of quarry the old workshops and sheds and was promptly told to get back in my truck and piss off or would be barred from site .one of the sheds held old machine parts and quarry fittings. Drive past lots of interesting buildings and abandoned properties but unfortunately my urbex regulation invisibility stripes don't work too well on a 32 tonne truck maybe hiding in plain sight is the best option?
