Report - Camelot Theme Park, Charnock Richard - October 2014

Visited with @Shimmy5305, we've been wanting to visit this place for a while if only to marvel at the high standard of theme park quality that Camelot is famous for. We arrived at the location nice and early to find the place pretty trashed, there is a few nice shots to be had of the castle and remaining rides. The park closed in 2012 after years of financial struggle and is currently earmarked for a large housing development.

Other than that good job i do quite like this old place

So you spent 2 hours in there and never got near the knightmare ride....what happened?

Good first report maybe an introduction to the Forum next ?

I know it's an obvious entry but we don't post access details on an public open Forum which could also give Secca info on access or detailed times when they could alter their routines preventing others visiting .....not that it maters much with this place TBH

Looks like you had a fun time in Plywood Fantasyland

Did you go next door to the Embassy ? If there's anything left of it

I've taken the times out and the point of entry out of the introduction, we couldn't get any wear near to the Knightmare because there was a guard sat in his car right next to the coaster. Not that upset really, it is just an excuse for another visit.

Click edit post and on the next page click advanced something or other I think and that should let you edit the title....

Love the look of this place, well done for getting round without being seen and good work on your reporting

OMG look at it Now i miss camelot i really do as i use to come here when i was a kid back in skool days... Wish they reopen it and put new rides in there it be really cool if they did.

just been very very recent and the car was parked in exact same spot a silver one. Also damn kids have burned one of main buildings down so security may be stepped up. Did get some awesome pics of the knightmare coaster. Was stood right next to it. Awesome place sadly vandalized by locals.
