I last visited this site in October and didn't expect anything to be left but as we were at the Latvian Consulate, it seemed rude not to "bob in" as we were passing. Last time, there had been several workmen, dismantling stuff and working in the ghost ride part of the site. This morning it was eerily quiet.
There were a few more brambles growing in the Dragon ride tracks and sadly, the Dragon carriages themselves had gone. Nature was trying to gain back control and, judging by my bramble scratches, was definitely winning.
Mini golf was off as we'd forgotten to bring our clubs, but fungi-spotting was most definitely on!
Last time, there'd been too many workmen around to explore the main jousting arena, and we'd had to creep through the bushes around the side of the site to get to the main rollercoaster.
We headed up towards the roller coaster. Surprisingly, it was still there but at this point, our fun was spoilt by the presence of a security guard, patrolling the site in a car. I knew it'd been too good to be true! Time for a swift exit and another venue to explore.
So we left, before we got the boot!
