Information - Cameron Hospital. Windygates, Fife

Knew there was a hospital here but never had cause to drive by it. Was down looking at the progress of the new railway and decided to take a drive round the grounds and was amazed to see that around half of the buildings are abandoned and in various stages of rot. Strange as parts of the site are still in use, but feels like the facility is in a state of winding down

Definitely worth keeping an eye on, and if anybody wants to be first then the opportunity is there.

Yeah done this, not much there.

Yeah, the FB masses went through the few derelict bits there a couple years back. We'd been donkeys ago, and the main derelict ward is ok, but nothing special. Some wee bits keep getting wound down then reopened for capacity reasons elsewhere in Fife. Linky below with some pics.
