Sorry if this is in the wrong place as it is mainly shots of diggers etc.
I found a few photos from here on flickr, so I thought I would take a closer look. Not sure if its live or not it seems pretty derpy as you enter but seems more in use as you go deeper into the site. A nice lil wander luckily I had some nice skies too
I couldn't find much history so stole a bit off their website.
Frimstone Limited were formed in 1974 as part of the Dickerson Group of Companies and operated quarries in Norfolk. M. Dickerson Ltd have been operating in the Cambridge area since the 1930's and following on from the sale of the Dickerson Group to Amey/Cespa in 2010, M. Dickerson Ltd was merged with Frimstone and now trades solely as Frimstone Limited.
Frimstone operates 7 sand and gravel sites, 1 Limestone quarry and 1 carrstone quarry of which 5 sites have inert landfill associated with them as well as 3 inert landfill sites, 2 urban sales sites, 1 recycling site and 2 airfield reclamation schemes throughout East Anglia.
