In March of 2012 Jos,Wido and I have visited this mine
In 1901 valuable coal was found in the earth layers of the area by André Dumont. In 1923 the ‘Charbonnage Limbourg-Meuse’ coal mine started operating. The mine got abandoned in 1987.
