Chatsworth House, Manchester - November 2013
Visited solo
Chatsworth House is a block of apartments on Lever Street, near Piccadilly Gardens, where my mate Joe lives. A post-war (I'm guessing 1970s) T-shaped, block of flats... there's little-to-nothing I can find on it's history, designers or architects. The building is only 7 or 8 floors tall but, for such a small building in the city centre, it has surprisingly uninterrupted views of the Manchester skyline. I nipped up one frosty morning on my own. I let my mate Joe know about his rooftop, he messaged me back later the same day thanking me. He said he now felt like he had a backyard to hang out in.
