There isn't a lot of information on Chesham House, mostly forum posts by skyscraper geeks about an aborted project to build a high rise on the site of the currently being demolished civic building.
Chesham House is a 12-ish floor high-rise in Sheffield and was home, until closure in the early naughties to the Benefits Agency and Social Security. The building complex was a six-storey 249 spaces car park, once called Rockingham car park then The Moor car park. Above the car park was Chesham House proper, an office block.
The explore was myself and Nannal on a whim.
In the early naughties.
And at various stages of demolition: 1, 2.
The Moor.
The lift's mechanisms.
Vanity shot. Sorry. The lift didn't go any where, fortunately.
It was never full.
