History:
Founded in 1903 and closed around 2004. Founding Father of the Church was a Pastor George Wise. The church maintained a sound uncompromising Protestant Evangelical Witness. From her inception, enemies constantly prophesied her early demise but under God the work begun by Pastor Wise was faithfully carried out by his successor, Rev. H. D. Longbottom who died in 1962. The faith then continued by Pastor George H. Mason who died in 1981. On Wednesday 31st March 1982 this Liverpool Church and it's Protestant Congregation were constituted as a congregation of the Free Presbyterian Church of Ulster.
The explore:
Have known about this church for a while, used to check up on the nearby Ark Synagogue every week or so until police found us there, and soon our entrances were blocked off! So to "replace" the synagogue, we went this place a few times, but it soon faded from memory, especially since we found a new way into the Ark. But the other week I was in the area, and decided to get some well deserved photos of the place. I had a relaxed and quick look around, the main hall is pretty good except for the clusters of bird shit everywhere, and you can get behind the organ pipes, there's also a basement level filled homeless people memorabilia.
