Clariant Chemical Works has been on the radar for some time now so when looking for something to do a couple of months ago, myself, rigsby and Havoc found ourselves near Leeds. We had a few other things to check out but first, we got up super early and had a poke around this scientificological giant.
There's a disappointing lack of huge labs full of mercury and other chemical goodies which was a bit of a shame. Due to its size, I was expecting something a bit more spectacular inside but the majority of it is empty rooms after empty rooms. We found some test tubes and other bits and pieces which are always nice to play with but that was about it.
I think there's probably more to see here but a lot of it was locked down solid with only one door to get in anyway so we left feeling somewhat forlorn.
