Daily Mail reporting (and probably months or years after the event) unknown climbers scaling a 360m chimney at a Slovenian Power Station

Ha, I caught a train past this spot last year.

Wanted to go back to that region ever since, absolutely beautiful.

Slovenia is a hidden unknown gem.. I know from a few visits now, and cheap to fly to by heading to Trieste in Italy first. Triglav is a fantastic mountain to climb and the whole region in general for limestone karst climbing. Good caving opportunities too.

EDIT: delete what I said there, been playing around on the internet..Wizz air seems to be now flying to Lubjiana, Slovenia, at more or less the same price as the Ryanair flight to Trieste

Ladder climbers climb tall ladder and didn't use safety equipment because they didn't need to.

you cant win with the Daily Mail... these people did have all possible safety equipment. The headline now becomes:
"Are you sure you've got enough rope?"

(although i would argue that too much rope would had been a big hazard in this case)
