Commodore Lithographs / Houghton & Lappin, Liverpool
After searching the web, there is not much around to document the exact history of these two business and this was all i was able to track down.
Commodore Lithographs appear to have been a big player in the printing business, judging by literally thousands of folders containing print samples and a whole couple of floors dotted with yet more samples.
Houghton and Lappin are dispensing chemists and judging by the delviery schedules, store rooms and itemised shelves this place appeared to be their head office at some point.
This place turned out to be one of those 'don't judge a building by it's exterior' places, about a week before the first report was posted on this place, myself and WIMR took a look through the slightly open door, all we could see on the ground floor was what looked like a bomb site, short of time, we headed off to another site and thought nothing more of the place until a week later when the true contents of this place was revealed.......More stuff left than you could shake a borrowers stick at!
