Like Boba Low said on his report I had seen someone mention that the Poor Clares convent had closed in York on some facebook group. Now, being from York and with my grandmother living in the area I gave her a call and just asked if she knew anything. When she replied with "yeah they've been gone a few months now I think" my eyes lit up at all the potential religious derp afoot. So fast forward a week or two and me Boba and Clough found ourselves dressing up in all sorts of religious garb and generally committing blasphemy at every turn. It turned out the nuns had only left in November-ish time so not all that long ago and the last person to be buried in the grave yard was about August 2012. But with all that aside it was quite possibly one of the best days out I've had in ages.
Now you're going to need to be fast with this one as now that it's for sale and with the area it's in being student central where land is at a premium, nearly 6 acres up for grabs isn't going to go unnoticed as the last derp in this area was student flats in less than 6 months from being sold.
