This was done in two trips; the first trip was with @plod, @TheMythicalBeast and a non-member. It was pretty awkward to find an access point so we only had time to explore the IDA ward because we had a lot planned for the rest of the day. The second trip was just me and @TheMythicalBeast, thanks to @YorkshireLuchador for the advice we managed to find our way into the main hospital.
Cookridge Hospital is a grade II listed building which opened in 1869. During WW1, the hospital was requisitioned to care for soldiers, and it eventually returned to caring for civilians in 1919. Over time, the hospital was extended with more wards that specialized in different medical fields, the main ward specializing in treatment of cancer. These facilities were transferred to the Bexley wing of St James' Oncology Unit, and the hospital closed in 2008 and is now awaiting demolition.
IDA Ward
After spending about 20 minutes wandering around the site and crawling under the floorboards trying to find a way in, I unexpectedly came across the access point that we thought we'd never find. The hospital is extremely far gone by this point and I'd have liked to have seen a bit more equipment in there, but nevertheless it was still a great explore. We even saw 2 foxes on the site

The Main Hospital
Had another day of exploring with @TheMythicalBeast, shortly after one of the first few explores of the day I realized I had forgotten to bring my SD card so I had to make do with my phone camera for this one
Getting in here was certainly a challenge but it was definitely worth the effort.
