This explore was the strangest but also saddest explores I've done as I was one of the many members of staff that lost there job here because of a fire that happened back in February.
It was sad seeing somewhere that I use to work in such a state and with no chance of saving it.
The few remaining workers that still work with the company work on another site and to be made redundant next year unfortunately.
The factory will most likely be demolished as there no sign of its getting fixed up. Roof is totally exposed, the place has been looted for scrap, there is also its fare share of pigeons in there as well.
One part of the building still had running power.
Spent a good hour in here and managed to see parts of the factory I didn't even know existed.
Country Style foods in Peterlee supplied doughnuts to supermarkets such as Morrisons and Lidl.
There are more sites around the country such as Newcastle and Leeds which deal with bread and pizza bases.
Thanks for looking
