Only just got round to sorting the photos from Raddog,Speed amd I's day in Ipswich.
Before I do a report on the huge foundry, I thought I would share the large hoard of 1920's - 50's ephemera I found on one of my patent hawk eye rummaging sessions.
It seems Crane made far more than pipe fittings in their day. I love the artwork and photography used in old ephemera, and I thougth this stuff was very eye catching, and retrotastic!
I also found some books on Crane's American father foundry in Boston Mass, with epic photos, so if there is interest I'll bash some of those up too...
