The former Cromwell Tools unit and the surrounding 1.7 acres of land are currently on the market for a cool £1.5 million pounds with planning permission for several homes. The site also includes an area where a manufacturer of glass reinforced plastics called 'Coes of Derby' used to be. Only a small reception building from Coes now remains and didn't really warrant any pictures, but if anyone had a look around the factory before it was demolished I'd be interested to see what it was like.
There wasn't a vast amount to see here, but since it's practically walking distance for me I thought I'd take a look around. Unfortunately kids and metal faries have been in and made a mess of the place but this is what was left...
I've seen some paperwork mountains but this takes the gold medal
It appears the last company to trade from here were called Cootehill Poultry Products, which explains this large refrigerator
And a few bits from the offices
Hmmmm...
This posh leatherbound ledger has escaped being thrown around
Short & sweet
