Fresh out of the Camden horse tunnels and smelling of dingy canal, we made our way into the glitzy surrounds of the City for the second stop on our London minitour. We were just gearing up to give the place a reccie, when screaming in like batman - came AndrewB with some much needed inside info. The gloriously technical access on this one was only topped by the epic views. Utterly brilliant.
Bit of background on the towers
Cromwell Tower was the first of three residential towers to be built in the grade II listed Barbican complex which sites up and around the Barbican Theatre. After being built in 1973 and named after Oliver Cromwell, it was followed in the next 3 years by Shakesphere and Lauderdale tower completing the trio.
Sick building, sick access, sick views.
