This was my second trip down to this place and it really is a great thing to see and if possible support them in anyway any of you can.
It is all staffeed and run by volunteers and at the moment they don't have enough people to help rebuild much more.
Most of you know the story behind this place by now and also that we seemed to overrun the place for a bit.
Today was for me to see the prince consort engine actually running (something I missed last time....... Yes south west train schedulers...... Don't think I've forgotten!). This engine is huge! insanely big! It has taken a team of 12 people 18 YEARS to restore, all working in their own free time!
