Myself and Dweeb have had this place pencilled in ever since it got posted months ago. And Im very surprised more people havent been to see this. Its scale is simply huge, and people who have an interest in Colliery's and the coal industry/its downfall will be in awe of this location.
We had a great few hours in here, only to have our visit cut short by the security bloke, who was a genuinly nice guy, so we promptly left without any fuss. The views from the top of the tower are fantastic, and the size of the coal hopper/silo is immense.
